Life for Ellie seemed "fairly normal," but...

Finding balance and courage: Ellie's Story 💛

"Treatment at The Royal changed the trajectory of my life. I am eternally grateful for what The Royal did for me. I am proof that your donations are genuinely improving and saving lives."

Life for Ellie seemed “fairly normal,” but deep down, something felt off. She progressively got worse, experiencing severe panic attacks and paranoia – to the point where she stopped being able to do the things she enjoyed most in life.

When Ellie was connected to The Royal, the trajectory of her life changed forever.

Celebrating Youth!

August 12th was International Youth Day, an opportunity to illuminate the unique issues faced by young people, and celebrate the young leaders of the future!

Whether it is helping teach clients in our Youth Inpatient Unit how to cook, or providing vital tools and resources to those who need them the most, Mindfull Gifts are a great way to help better the lives of young people in our care.

Self-Care Tip from KJ Thomas, a social worker at The Royal!

Taking time for yourself is not selfish - it is essential for maintaining your mental health and overall well-being. When you take care of yourself, you are in a better position to care for others.

Journaling can be a helpful tool for expressing and managing complicated feelings. The only thing you need to get started is a pen and paper!

On behalf of our staff, clients, and their families, we sincerely thank you for all of your support and contributions.
