Meet Julia 🧡

Despite having a seemingly normal childhood, Julia’s experience with mental illness began at a young age. For much of her life, she constantly felt intense anger and grew extremely anxious, ultimately leading her down a very dark path.

When she first came to The Royal, Julia had lost hope in ever pulling herself out of the all-encompassing darkness she experienced. Now, Julia has the tools to be the best version of herself.

Today, we recognize Bell Let’s Talk Day—an initiative that shines a light on mental health and encourages open, stigma-free conversations.

Mental illness touches us all, whether personally or through someone we care about. Initiatives like this remind us that every conversation matters in reducing stigma and fostering understanding, ensuring a future where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.
